It's called VANQUISH THEM. Basically Devil May Cry-meets-Doom-meets-Postal-meets-Survivors with a strong attack inspired by Breath of Fire V. There will be situations where you'll really want the extra power, but it comes at the cost of increasing your Demon Meter. If it reaches 100%, you die. The grim reapers' magic also increase it.

Man, this was a fever dream of a game. We spent a lot of time and effort on it, despite the stuff in our lives. We submitted to the jam late because I was building the level and tweaking some things from midnight to about 5 in the morning the day of the jam's deadline, but it was so fun! I enjoyed making it, and enjoyed how it turned out! Might even plink away at a 1.1 version with a longer level, better balancing, an actual boss, etc.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this place. Previously, I'd stuck to the... now very dead Twitter, and YouTube. And old habits die hard, especially when you're neurodivergent. Now I'm trying to branch out a bit.

I started out as a vgm composer some 12 odd years ago, when I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Taught myself that, started really wanting to make my own game after a while so I taught myself pixel art as well. 1 billion years, wake up calls, and bad drafts after that and I now have some game jam and other small games under my belt that I really, really had to fight for given my plethora of mental and physical challenges.

I'll be posting my first song in a few moments. I've heard good things about this website, and I hope I have a nice experience here.
